SOME SEMI-ORIGINAL THOUGHTS:
- It has occurred to me the U.S. (as we know it) is basically populated by people who escaped, one way or another, from other countries: except for the Blacks, of course. They were kidnapped and then they escaped while in the U.S. The American Indians were here first; but I do not have the strength to think about that subject right now.
- I have been wondering, however, what the world would be like if Columbus and his Like had not fallen upon the North American Continent. Would America ever has been as Great as it was? What if the American Indians had gotten together and stopped the White Man at the shore…would Hollywood, or the NFL, or the A-Bomb ever have come into existence? What if China had figured out the world was round, before Columbus did, and they went looking for a cheaper trade route and bumped into North America first….and… and I prefer thinking about these things more than I do about America possibly invading Mexico with our army led by a swashbuckling, hard drinking, macho, warrior type…in order to stop drugs from entering our Drug Demanding Country which is primarily occupied by a bunch of white, escapees from Europe.
- This week I read in the newspapers that the best way to get thin is never to have gotten fat. It was a 4 minute article. I am afraid that during “Victory 47” (I didn’t make that up) it is going to be short on solid news, as we used to know it.
- My internet feed comes up with lists of 5 books that various Rich people recommend you should read…5 Books that maybe made them rich, or smart, or famous – I guess. I counted five different book lists by 5 different rich people (Musk & the Facebook guy included). - A friend of mine told me there are scammers about, recently, who approach you and say – for a fee – they can keep you safe from ICE and other “Victory 47” predators. If you are interested in more ton his, send me 10 Dollars (U.S.) and I will tell you how to avoid such scammers.
- Oh, remember a few years ago when some people thought the end of the world was imminent, when “Corporations are People, too” became the law of the land. Remember back then? Well, it has occurred to me there is a new spin on this: “People are Corporations, too”…and now there is a new End of the World as we know it.
