(We apologize for the delay in broadcasting our next episode of the NOTEFLIX series “Troubles in the Garden“.  Last night our production facilities were marauded by a gang of scabs and our set was nearly destroyed.  Fortunately, our security cameras show who did what and justice will be served. Notwithstanding the vile efforts of our detractors, Episode #4 will be produced by Monday’s posting.)

(The adventure continues…)

10/10/19

(To be continued.)

11/4/19

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the garden” Our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, still in the Land of Uncertain Knowledge, draws near his newly found love, Mamzelle Pinkie. But Ho! Is that another suitor ? (See stage, upper right) Problems? What does the future hold? It is an old story, unless you have never heard it before. (To be continued.)

11/15/19

Update from NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: FLASHBACK!  We go back a few days, before our hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, first spied Mamzelle Pinkie – and had his heart stolen…back before that. The Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge (Upper Left) had claimed the fair wing of Mamzelle Pinkie for himself. Now, the Prince is a good bird – and so is our hero…Things get complicated. He who sleeps at the wheel, will lose out. (To be continued.)

11/25/19

(Attention New Readers! Regarding the photos below and their related story-line: You have arrived long after our story begins, but no matter. What is past is not prologue. Sufficient to say, we tell a tale of Love and Sorrow, full of Sound and Fury – and in the end it signifies everything. Think of it like a river – and just jump into it and go with the flow. -Director)

11/25/19  -part 11

“Troubles in the Garden” continued: Mamzelle Pinkie could choose to nest with our hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness…and dash the hopes of the aging Prince.  (See above) We do not know which way this will play out – for the script has not yet been written. As the Immortal Bard has said;”The readiness is all.”

12/2/19 (We apologize. The photo for this posting has been stolen; Possibly by a foreign hacker, or a disgruntled former NOTEFLIX scriptwriter. Then again, it could just be lost)

More from NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles In The Garden”: Does Mamzelle Pinkie choose  the rich, handsome, aging Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge? Does she settle for: Security? Safe, comfy sleeps? Untold wealth? A Kingdom? Or….(See below)

12/2/19  -part 11

Does she take a chance on our hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness? A wandering warrior trying to find his way home. Some would say he is a flighty sort, who knows not what is what. What should Mamzelle Pinkie do in this unsettled world of fast moving, unpredictable times? Will traveling with our hero keep her up at night?  Or will she be practical? Responsible?…And go with the Prince?  Should she follow her heart – and our hero? Which way should she go? You decide. We will study the opinions of our many readers and write the script accordingly. (to be cont’d.)

12/9/19

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Mamzelle Pinkie is alone and confused. Though she is a well educated bird from a ‘Good Family’ she does not know which way to go in life. The  poll from our readers was worthless, suggesting an even split; half for her to go with  Jack, the aging Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge; and be financially secure for the rest of her life –  or to fly away with our hero the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness – not knowing what is to come next; but love and excitement. Truth to tell neither option is what Mamzelle Pinkie ever dreamed of, for all she ever wanted to be was a  Foodie-Journalist, which is what she was trained to be in Bird School – and tell truth to power. (More will be revealed)

12/16/19

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Mamzelle Pinkie has a problem, or three. Does she pledge her troth to  Jack the aging wealthy Prince, or to our Hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness? (See below) Or does she follow her dream of becoming a Foodie-Journalist? She cannot dither long because she will need to build her nest soon – and, besides it is getting cold outside.

12/16/19.  -part 11

Meanwhile: Our two male protagonists are sizing each other up to see how best to gain the favor, or simply seize the wing, of their fair Mamzelle Pinkie. Problems could develop. And the weather is not looking good, either. What good can come from all this? (To be cont’d)

12/23/19

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Our Heroine, Mamzelle Pinkie is being pursued by our Hero, the Bluebird of Happiness (Pictured below)  – and also by the handsome, aging, rich, Jack the Prince (Pictured even further below). Mamzelle is in a dither, because all she wants is to be is a  Foodie-Journalist and tell truth to power…but the other options are attractive…(As you can see, Mamzelle Pinkie has flown the coop and changed geographical/site location (Which has presented  many difficulties to our production staff).

12/23/19  -part 11

…Meanwhile, our Hero, the  Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, eager to pursue Mamzelle Pinkie – prepares to do battle for her wing, repairing to the rigorous and spare training grounds of his warrior days. Steeling himself for the oncoming competition…and the joy of victory…( See even further below for more update)

12/23/19 -part111

Meanwhile: Jack the rich, aging Prince has repaired to his land of wealth and is gathering a sampling of his riches with which to woo Mamzelle Pinkie…The Prince realizes things beget things. He hopes. (To be Cont’d.)

12/30/19

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Our Heroine, Mamzelle Pinkie. has decided to forsake both Jack, the rich aging Prince and our hero the  Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness (see previous posts) – and follow her dream of becoming a Foodie-Journalist and tell truth to power – for now. So, she has flown the coop again and went to baptize herself in the Fountain  of Truth and from thence to enter into a different dimension; the one containing The Land of the Humans and other Dangerous Creatures. (To be Cont’d.)

1/6/20

Update on Noteflix’s  international production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Mamzelle Pinkie, having discovered a wormhole, has entered the dimension in which Humans and other Dangerous Creatures live. She has gone there to report, as a Foodie-Journalist, on the situation ( ‘On the Wing’, aka ‘Free-lance’). Oddly, she has landed in an Italian cafe – wherefrom she will have to quickly remove herself before some Human thinks she is simply a stuffed toy for sale. (Continued at the end of this post)

1/6/20  -part 11

“Troubles…”…cont’d: Mamzelle Pinkie has decided to take in a few sights before she gets down to work. Who can blame her? Meanwhile, as you will see in the next Update, our Hero, the Bluebird of Happiness, is beside himself with worry over his missing love. (To be Cont’d.)

1/13/20

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of”Troubles in the Garden”: Our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, is distressed over the disappearance of his true love, Mamzelle Pinkie. He has heard she zipped through a wormhole and is in the dimension of the Humans and other Dangerous Creatures. Desperately, he searches high and low for the wormhole, so he can find her. Right now (above), he peers his beak into a hole at the bottom of an olive tree – only to be disappointed. (Continued at bottom of this post)

1/13/20  -part 11

“Troubles in the Garden” continued…: Mamzelle Pinkie, now in the dimension of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures, has been distracted from her mission of becoming a serious Foodie-Journalist – and telling truth to power…instead she has succumbed to the temptations of the Pasta Dolce (Translation: Sweet Pastries) and ‘The Good Life’ of the Caffe Set. Will our hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, find her  – and save her from this meaningless way of life? (To be continued…)

1/20/20

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”.  After much searching, our hero, the  Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, has found a door to a worm-hole which will take him to the land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures  – where he will try to rescue his true love (Mamzelle Pinkie) from a perilous way of life. He will not fly there, for the hole is more like a tunnel and it will be a tough journey.  Once in the land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures – it will be difficult to find the exit – for it is a beguiling, enthralling and complex place, with hardly any decent way out. (Continued below…)

1/20/20  -part 11

“Troubles in the Garden” – Update cont’d: Mamzelle Pinkie is beguiled by tourist traps  – as are many of the Humans.  Here she has been spotted by bird watchers as she visits the Piazza Santa Croce (Florence).  Oddly, or prophetically, she is seen resting in front of a statue of Dante – who wrote “The Inferno” and “Paradiso” Which way of life will Mamzelle Pinkie experience the most of?  Will the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness find her in time?  In this universe? (To be continued in the next posting…)

1/27/20

Update on Notelflix’s International Production of “Troubles in the Garden”.  (But first: We have received news of Mamzelle Pinkie sightings from around much of the globe; California, Seven Eleven Gas stations in Virginia – and more.  This may give credence to the ‘Multi-Universe Theory’ – of which this Blog spoke of – only last week…or there could be an emerging flock of Mamzelle Pinkie Impersonators.)  As you can see, our Mamzelle Pinkie has landed on a Cheese Man’s cart.  She  has taken a peck of Pecorino to see if she wants to write about food in Italy.  She has no idea that the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness has crawled through a worm-hole to find her and rescue her from what he considers to be a perilous plight.  (Part 11 of this update is seen at bottom of this post)

1/27/20  -part 11

(Update Continued).  Our hero, The Bluebird of Happiness, is now in the land of the Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures – and is on the search for Mamzelle Pinkie.  Knowing she is a Foodie,  before all else, he is prowling the markets and has landed in a fruit stand.  As you can see in this most excellent photo of the event, he does not see her a few baskets back – in the Fujis.  As for Mamzelle Pinkie, she does not recognize our hero; for all she sees of him is the back of his head – which see mistakes for an off colored Persimmon.  Fate is often perverse. But, perhaps, soon, they will meet again.  The good news is: Our hero is no fool; the hustle and bustle and temptations of this strange land – with all its goings on – has not yet distracted our him from his heroic mission – even though those pears look pretty good.

2/3/20

Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Mamzelle Pinkie, beguiled by the temptations in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures – has succumbed to the delights of a Gelato bar in Sienna.  She has forgotten about her mission to become a serious Foodie-Journalist.  Is she wasting her time in this world? Is she spending her savings on goods she can ill afford? Has she forgotten about our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness – who is searching for her?  (Cont’d below – this post)

2/3/20 -part 11

‘Troubles in the Garden” Update, Continued:  Mamzelle Pinkie, stuffed with Gelato (Pistachio), has been mysteriously transported to a church – the purpose of which is to see if she can be inspired to change her ways and return to a meaningful way of life (before she is too old, or hefty).  But WHOA!  Is that an Angel holding her high in the side altar?  Do Angels have hands? (To be continued.)

2/10/20

Update on the International NOTEFLIX production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Mamzelle Pinkie, having had a spiritual experience (See past posting) has decided to improve herself and leave her frivolous ways – but just before she does that – she goes back to the olive man for one more taste of the good life.  Little does she know that there are many more irresistible temptations in the Land of the Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. (Continued below)

2/10/20

“Troubles in the Garden”, update continued: At last, our hero, TheMulticolored Bluebird of Happiness, has found his love, Mamzelle Pinkie,  and is ready to swoop her up and out of the Olive Man’s den of Gluttony. Mamzelle Pinkie feels safe and is happy to be with our hero. But WAIT! Is that Jack the Rich and Aging Prince? (At the lower right.) Did he find a worm-hole, too? Is he still in amorous pursuit of our Mamzelle Pinkie? And will he cause problems for our Duo? (See next week’s action!)

2/17/20

Update on the international production of NOTEFLIX’s “Troubles in the Garden”:  Our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and Jack, the Rich and Aging Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge, have decided to take it outside and fight it out – over the wing of the fair Mamzelle Pinkie; for once and for all. (See what happens next – at the bottom of this post)

2/17/20  -part 11

“…Troubles …” cont’d: But wait!  Who is that?  Why that is no other than Miz Ezmeralda, the Hairy Pig Queen of all the Stuffed Animals who have made it through the worm-hole and into the Land of the Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures.  She rules! And she forbids fighting between all her subjects. Warning: Do not give the ‘Pinched Finger ‘ (See written blog for explanation) sign to Miz Ezmeralda. What she commands is written in stone. – (She does have a bit of an egomaniacal problem with her good looks and has become a terrible camera hog.)  As you can see, Mamzelle Pinkie (in the background) is eager to find out what will become of all this.  (Look for more action next week.)

2/24/20

Update on NOTEFLIX’s International production of: “Troubles in the Garden”: The Paparazzi followed Jack the aging and rich Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge (and sometime suitor to Mamzelle Pinkie)  and have taken the above picture of him philandering in a nightowl club.  This photo went viral and nothing could be done to delete it.  (This is what is called a “Resume Generating Event” –  see post below.)  Of course, Mamzelle Pinkie was shown this disgusting photo.  For now Jack is out of the picture.

2/24/20

Troubles… “Continued:  So, for now our hero the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and Mamzelle Pinkie are a re-united item with no troublesome Jack the rich and aging  Prince in the picture. They would thank Miz Ezmeralda for her efforts in stopping Jack and the  Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness from embarrassing themselves in a fight over Mamzelle Pinkie’s wing – but Miz Ezmeralda is too busy taking selfies and sending them to her constituents to be bothered.  (See more action next week.)

3/2/20

3/2/20  -part 11

50th Episode continued (Congrats, again!!): But wait!?  Who is that in the back right of this photo? An intruder?  Where did he come from?  Is he Friend? or Foe? or What? (More will be revealed next week.)

3/9/20

The 51st Episode of NOTEFLIX’s Season One of “Troubles In The Garden”.   TEASER/RECAP (From last episode…): Remember, just as Our Hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and Mamzelle Pinkie were about to go off in bliss together and not think about any of the problems in the land of the Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures – What happens?  But a new stuffed animal creature showed up.  To what end?  (See newly released Episode #51, below)

3/9/20

Episode #51 of Season One of “Troubles…”:  Pablo, The Renowned Smuggler of Young Stuffed Animals has found his way through a wormhole and is bringing his young and homeless wards into the land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures.  Their travels have been hard. Who knows if they are wanted, or not?  But here they are – and would it be selfish for Mamzelle and the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness to fly off in their glee?  Or should they stay and try to be of help to the poor and wandering new?  (See more action next week in Episode #52)

3/16/20

Episode #52 of NOTEFLIX’s International Production of “Troubles in the Garden”:  Pay Attention, for the action is packed.  Mamzelle Pinkie’s heart has been moved by the plight of Pablo, the Renowned Smuggler of Young Stuffed Animals – and wanting to help, she has introduced Pablo to Miz Ezmeralda, the Hairy Pig Queen of Stuffed animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures.  Miz Ezmeralda has the Power to grant Pablo’s rag-tag caravan residence in her domain – but first she wants to make sure she is seen up-close in the photo-op of the meeting.  As you can see our Hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness has eyes for Mamzelle Pinkie, only.  (See next week’s post to find out what happens.)

3/23/20

Episode #52 to NOTEFLIX’s International Production of “Troubles in the Garden”:  (This is a Bonus picture for our subscribers).  This is a photo taken after the New Citizens’ Induction Ceremony into the Realm of  Stuffed Animals, which resides in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. (Mamzelle Pinkie and  Miz Ezmiralda, The Hairy Pig Queen set up the photo.  See the second Bonus picture at the end of this post)

3/23/20  -part 11

Second Bonus picture:  This is a photo of the the new citizen/inductees (a.k.a. ‘Newbies’) and Mortimer, the main speaker of the event.  Mortimer is not very smart, but he seems likeable.  All the Newbies agreed they had never heard such a dumb speech in their lives.  In fairness, the Newbies are so young, they had not heard many speeches before. However, they were still happy to be there.  (We thank Mamzelle Pinkie and Miz Ezmeralda for the photo) What Mortimer meant to impart; but failed to do – was: If a Newbie were especially good, it would most likely be adopted by a Human…and in so doing the Human would become a less dangerous creature itself. …And then Mortimer rambled on to say that if the Newbie were especially good, it might even get to work for a very rich stuffed animal…the comment of which nobody understood at the time.

3/30/20

Episode #53 of the International NOTEFLIX production of “Troubles in the Garden”:  Flashback! “Troubles…” update cont’d: So, due to safety and societal concerns our couple must keep its Social Distance – for now.  Mamzelle Pinkie and The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness must set a good example to their admirers.  The Bluebird does not like this one bit. (But wait, there is more below)

3/30/20   -part 111

Bonus update & photo: Pablo the smuggler of  unwanted Stuffed Animals has found yet more creatures to bring into the Hairy Pig Queen’s gentle domain.  But how can he do this with everybody shut-in and taking care of themselves and no one to be of help to others?

4/6/20

54th Episode of NOTEFLIX’s “Troubles in the Garden”:  Attention! Ezmeralda, the Hairy Pig Queen of the Realm of Stuffed Animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures, has decreed that all stuffed animals must wear protective gear as long as the Humans have to.  (For more on this: See below  – at end of this post…Also, if you are a new reader to this site….please go back over the past 53 updates and catch up on this thrilling story. You have time to do this, now that you are shut in.)

4/6/20. -part 11

54th Episode cont’d.:  In the spirit of the times, our protagonists have donned protective gear.  The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness is not happy with this, for there is nothing he would rather do than to give Mamzelle Pinkie a little peck on the cheek; but social distancing prohibits, anyway.

4/13/20

Episode #55 of NOTEFLIX’s International Production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Remember Mortimer? The not too smart Speaker in Episode #53?  Well, he is back and he is preaching the value of social distancing to our Hero, the  Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and our Heroine, Mamzelle Pinkie.  The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness hates this Social Distancing business because all he wants is to be close to Mamzelle Pinkie.  Mortimer is not behaving properly in this picture.  Can you tell why? (See below for the correct answer.)

4/13/20  -part 11

Episode #55 cont’d.: You are CORRECT, if you noticed Mortimer (in the picture just above) was NOT wearing his mask while speaking to his audience.  BAD form.  He was immediately replaced by Mathuzala, the All-Wise Rodent, (who will become a staple of this production and other educational outlets.)  Mathuzala says that while stuffed animals do not need to wear masks for their own health – as they do not contract virus’s in the same way Humans do – they must wear masks to show solidarity, since they are now living in the Land of Humans and other Dangerous Creatures.  The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness is not happy to comply with this edict; but he is afraid of the stick in Mathuzala’s paw.

4/20/20

Episode #56 of NOTEFLIX’s International production of “Troubles in the Garden”:  As You can see, Mamzelle Pinkie and our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, are properly wearing masks and keeping a social distance.  That is the good news. What is bad news is they have taken to dickering over what to watch.  Mamzelle Pinkie, being the Foodie she is – wants to watch a cooking show.  The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness wants to watch a Rom-Com, being the romantic he is.  Will they compromise and watch a murder mystery? …which neither wants to watch?  How will this play out?  Come back next week to find out.

4/27/20

A PUBLIC SERVICE announcement from the Celebrity cast of NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: … Mathuzala, the Wisest of all, (top left) commands: “When outside: Keep your mask on!…And keep your Social Distance!”.  Mamzelle Pinkie and our Hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness are keeping their Social Distance in this picture – even though it might not look like it; but you have to consider their small sizes and calculate accordingly.  Pablo and  the Bluebird’s stunt double and the immigrant kids and Jack the Wealthy Prince,  are all behaving and want you to do the same.  As for Mortimer (bottom right) we will edit him out of the final version of this post. (He refused to wear his mask)

5/4/20

Episode #57 of NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Our Heroine, Mamzelle Pinkie, is taking a small flight around the piazza  – as is permitted under the new and less rigid Lockdown regulations.  She has alighted near a news stand, which has newspapers (in different languages) headlining horrible news events.  This does not bother her, because stuffed animals cannot read.  What does bother her is the fact that Ezmeralda, (Lower right of picture) the Hairy Pig Queen of the Stuffed Animals living in the Land of the Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures is following Mamzelle Pinkie’s every move, hoping to catch her in a violation of Social Distancing Code.  (If you think this storyline is nonsense, you should see what they are putting up on Netflix and HULU these days when everybody is trying to get your eyeballs – while you are forced to stay in and watch the screen.) More action-packed thrills next week.

5/11/20

Episode #58 of NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: This is a dream sequence in which our heroine, Mamzelle Pinkie, sees herself back in a ‘Normal’ reality. (You can spot her through your binoculars, somewhere, over there, in her favorite Rosebush.) Did you catch the fantasy? Mamzelle Pinkie is mask-less; but this is only a dream – as you will see in the picture at the bottom of this post.

5/11/20  -part 11

Episode #58 continued:  But the Dream is over and the harsh reality is: Mamzelle Pinkie (Top Center) must still wear her mask as she flits about.  Mathuzala (lower Right), the Wisest stuffed animal of them all, is there to remind her of her responsibilities. Mathuzala would never hit Mamzelle Pinkie with his stick  – even if she misbehaved; but Mamzelle Pinkie does not know that.  Come back next week for more action.

5/18/20

Episode #59 of “Troubles in the Garden”:  Our Hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and our heroine, Mamzelle Pinkie, are still social distancing and wearing masks.  But this does not mean spooning has to take a leave of absence.  It has been reported Human couples are having difficulties being pent up with each other; but such is not the case in the Stuffed Animal kingdom. Some of our readers have complained they do not know enough about The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness:  “What are his interests?  What does he do?” they ask.  “All he wants to do is to have a good time,” we answer; and if that is not interesting enough to you, you can find a serial-killer show on Netflix. (special bonus picture to this Episode below)

5/18/20  part 11

Episode #59 continued:  Our hero, Multicolored The Bluebird of Happiness, arranged to get get us to buy one of those photo altering devices (mentioned above in this post) ..and he had Mamzelle Pinkie’s mask removed – so he could see her better.  And  “Voila!”  now he is having a good time.

5/25/20

Episode #60 from NOTEFLIX’s production of: “Troubles in the Garden”: Our hero, the  Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and his love, Mamzelle Pinkie, are now allowed to go out – to  have a near normalized life – and they are pecking on a fine meal together. They are still keeping a safe distance and wearing masks – so not to bother any creature who might be concerned about their passing along contagion – even though studies show Stuffed Animals do not spread virus’s. In the top left of the photo you will observe Miz Ezmiralda, the  Hairy Pig Queen of the Stuffed Animals living in the realm of the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures – she is there to make sure our favorite couple is following all healthful guidelines. For those who are interested, the dinner conversation was mostly about whether Mamzelle Pinkie should go back to work as a Foodie-Journalist, covering her favorite foods – or is it too early in the ‘Recovery’ process? As for The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, he voted to keep her home with him in Lockdown.  The evening lasted long into the night.

6/1/20

Episode #61 of NOTEFLIX’s “Troubles in the Garden”: The Fury of a woman scorned is nothing compared to that of Jack the Rich and Aging Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge – who was scorned by Mamzelle Pinkie (See past episodes for reminder)  So, Jack (See figure on the right of picture) is assembling a team, the purpose of which is to take power over the Realm of Stuffed Animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. His plan is to sow dissension and chaos, by telling lies and making things up – and make life as miserable for everybody else as it is for him.  Over drinks and snacks, the Prince has caught in his thrall: Mortimer, who is a dim-witted sort of a creature (See left of picture…and find him in past Episodes)) and Bork, the fierce and angry purple fat slug.  (See next week for more action.  See below for what is going on in the meanwhile.)

6/1/20  -part 11

Episode #61 cont’d, Bonus Picture: Our Hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and Mamzelle Pinkie had so much fun spooning last week, they are still at it. Their Social distancing chaperone, Miz Ezmiralda, the Hairy Pig Queen of the Stuffed Animals living in the Realm of the Humans and other Dangerous Creatures – who is a bit of a camera hog…has no idea of the trouble which is brewing in her Queendom. (…as talked about in the picture above.

6/8/20

Episode #62 of NOTEFLIX’s ‘Troubles in the Garden”: Jack the Rich and aging Prince of the Land of Uncertain Knowledge, now scorned, is building up his team of evil-doers.  As you know, his aim is to ruin the happy lives of our hero, The Bluebird of Happiness and Mamzelle Pinkie, who are now a bird of a feather, as it were. The Prince is so jealous he is even willing to destroy the good life of all the creatures in the Queendom of the Stuffed Animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures.  You have met the dim-witted Mortimer (seen on the left of the gang) and next to him (counter-clockwise) – a newcomer – Charlie the Rat, who is good at deconstruction type activities and falsifying numbers…and Mac the Shark, the Killer Shark – and you already know Bork the fierce and Angry Purple fat Slug, who is so mad he could spit.  Then there is The White-Eyed Toad, who has hopped on to the wagon for the money and thrill of being close to power.  You will note  all these villains are male, and while they are conspiring, they are over-indulging in food and drink – and playing Black-Jack. (One of them took a hit on 14 and busted over 21).  How anybody could find such a cast of bad-actors is hard to imagine.  But it happens.  (See below for continuation.)

6/8/20  -part 11

Episode #62 cont’d: See our hero The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness cooing over his requited  love, Mamzelle Pinkie. See their chaperone, Ezmiralda, the camera hog and Queen of the realm of Stuffed Animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. And who is that sneaking up behind them? None other than Bork, the fierce and angry  fat Purple Slug, slithering into the scene. (see him behind wine bottle). Bork’s intention, by his mere presence, is to spoil the romantic evening. But wait! That lights in the  upper background (see upper left of photo); look oddly like a form of a religious/spiritual symbol. Will there be an unworldly Helper to come along? If so, which side will the Helper be on? Are we near the end? Or near the Beginning? (Return next week to experience the thrills.)

6/15/20

Episode #63 from NOTEFLIX’s “Troubles in the Garden”: Remember last week? When we saw a strange light in the background? We thought it might have other-worldly significance? Well, we might have been right.  The light has drawn closer – and it turns out to be Goofo, the Angelic Night Owl. Where she is from nobody knows, and only a few can actually see her. She is not wise; but she knows much wisdom.  She speaks in ‘Tweets”. “Tweet, Tweet!” she says and everybody has to decipher what she is trying to say. Often, there are many  diverse opinions to what she means. We know this much: Goofo favors the side of ‘Good’ and is pleased with our loving couple (Our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness, and Mamzelle Pinkie). You are looking at the first photo-op, ever, which includes Goofo. Bork the Fierce and fat and Angry Purple Slug wants none of it and is slithering away to tell Jack the  Scorned and Bad  Prince that  there is a new arrival in the Realm of Stuffed Animals who live in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. (See below for more action)

6/15/20  -part 11

“Troubles…” cont’d: Meanwhile, on the other side of town, our crew of Bad Actors has been carousing into the wee hours of the morning (see the moon is down). They are in a huddle planning their next play in which they hope to disturb the bliss in Qween Ezmiralda’s Realm of Stuffed Animals. (You will note Mac the Shark is not in the picture – he has fallen off the table from too much drink.) Here comes Bork, the Fierce and Angry fat Slug (enters stage left), slithering in to tell the gang about the new  and mysterious arrival in the Queendom. “She is weird.” says Bork. “She speaks in ‘Tweets’ all the time. … And she has a strange light. I think she may have swallowed a battery or taken a  pill that had a bizarre side-effect.” No one knows what to make of Goofo. (Return next week for more thrills.)

6/22/20

Episode #64 from NOTEFLIX’s  “Troubles in the Garden”: You would think from the picture seen above, that we are showing a happy ending to our story; with our  hero, the multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and his true love, Mamzelle Pinkie – together at last. But ‘au contraire’, even though Miz  Ezmiralda, the  Hairy Pig Queen of the Stuffed Animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures  is standing guard…and Goofo, the mysterious, lighted owl is shining her blessing on our loving couple …Trouble is afoot…as you will see in the next photo.

6/22/20

Episode #64 of ‘Troubles…” cont’d.: The original photo (seen atone picture above) has been doctored! What you are looking at now is a disgusting Fake News, release…. an alteration of a perfectly romantic scene…turned into a horrible, slanderous lie…Our Hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness has been  removed from the scene and replaced by Jack, the rich and aging Prince and  the now evilly, jealous villain of our story.  Jack  has also removed our chaperone, the Hairy Pig Queen and inserted Mortimer,  his dull witted sycophant and body guard. This scene never really happened; but it was released on FIX’d News and distributed on: F/B, Twitter, Instagram and other  unregulated platforms. Damage has been done. But, perhaps a mistake was made – the bad guys did not notice Goofo has remained on the scene. (upper left) Yes. She  had turned off her light – and our villains mistook her for a lifeless piece of plastic in the background. Will she give witness to what really never happened; To the truth? Will anybody care?  Will the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness suspect Mamzelle Pinkie reconnoitered with Jack the Bad and Evil Prince? What is to be believed? (Come back next week for future developments.)

6/29/20

Episode #65 of NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”  Before we move our story along, we introduce a new character.  On the right of photo you will see “Big Sis” (aka Suzy-Q).  She is not a ‘blood sister’ (she is a Stuffed Animal – after all) of Miz Ezmiralda, The Hairy Pig Queen of the Land of Stuffed Animals living in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures (Lower left of photo); but she is the biggest Stuffed Animal in the Land. She is virtuous and she is shy and usually she hides from sight – probably because of her feelings about her enormous girth; but no matter – she is a friend and an obedient servant of the Hairy Pig Queen.  Miz Ezmiralda has told “Big Sis” (aka Suzy-Q)” …to “deal” with Jack, the Jealous, Rich and aging, evil Prince and his gang – because of the terrible FAKE NEWS alteration they made of a photo that was Twittered out to the world last week.  (For review of the gang and their horrible doings, etc., see last blog posting…for more,  see bottom of this posting)

6/29/20  -part 11

Episode #65 Cont’d.:  “Big Sis” (aka Suzy-Q) being the good and virtuous creature she is “…Deals with” the gang in one fell swoop.  She has put them out of action and will send them on their way back through the worm-hole from whence they came . …Is that it?  Is our story over? Can our hero, the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and Miz Pinkie live in peace and harmony in a Land which is in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures?  (To find out, see below).

7/6/20

Episode #66  of Season 1 of NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: Now that Jack the Rich , evil, aging, scorned Prince and his gang have been rousted and sent back to you know where by Big Sis – aka Suzy-Q (See last week’s update) …our loving couple The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness and Mamzelle Pinkie can relax over a nice morning snack & coffee and read the news. Of course, they can’t read in  Italian – as they cannot even read – they are Stuffed Animals after-all; but they can understand the pictures and they are quite alarmed over what is going on in the Land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. What with free time on their wings, the two have decided to indulge themselves later in the day by seeking spiritual/wisdom counsel.(Do not snicker over their not being able to read. These creatures have been tweeting long before the iPhone was invented – so, they are ahead of us in many ways.) See below for More.

7/6/20  -part 11

#66 cont’d. (…And so, NOTEFLIX has  set up another ‘Tableau Stuffant’ for our reader/viewers): Our Hero & Heroine have repaired to den of Mathuzala, the Wisest of all Stuffed Animals  and wiser than any Human, also. Mathuzala is advising them to keep wearing  masks – even though stuffed animals do not get the virus – they could pass it on…and then the humans could blame them and all ‘you know what’ could break loose. The second thing Mathuzala tells them is they should keep watching the NEWS, (even though they cannot read – and they cannot do anything about it if they could). Mathuzala tells them he will explain why the NEWS – as questionable as it is – is vitally important to them; in a later Episode. (Return next week for MORE)

7/13  part 1

Episode #67 to NOTEFLIX’s production of ‘Troubles in the Garden”: Remember Pablo, the Smuggler of Unwanted Stuffed Animals? (See Episode #53, dated 3/30/20) Pablo can wait no longer to bring more Stuffed Animals into the land of Humans and Other Dangerous Creatures. All kinds of new species want in. (Some even still have their tags on them) There are 3 things to note in this picture: 1) Not only are there Stuffed Animals in the shot; but there are also electrical cords in there. (This will be explained in the posting below.) 2) Bork, the fierce, fat and angry Purple Slug has somehow slithered his way into the scene. (See  purple creature, lower left). Perhaps some of the ‘Bad Actors’ (See Episode #65, dated 6/29/20) have not been successfully banished – and all is not as well as presumed. And, 3) Who is that new Fair Lady in the picture? (See upper right, right next to Pablo) – and is she a problem? (See at bottom of this posting for more.)

7/13 part 11

(Episode #67 cont’d.) Introducing: Scarlet. Nobody knows from whence she came. She does have a southern sounding ‘tweet’, however. She is a bird of Mystery – and to some ‘Mystery’ means a hidden past. And what is to hide? And why is she here?  Is she: an Uncontrolled Entry? an unwanted consumer of our Food supply? An Immigrant who will take a job from another Stuffed Animal? A student wanting to go to school? Or  worse, a teacher? (See undated future Episodes for more on this exciting matter.)

7/20  part 1

Episode #68 of  NOTEFLIX’s “Troubles in the Garden”: Remember our new character from last week? The Bird of ‘Mystery’, Scarlet?  Well, the ‘Mystery’ is over. Scarlet is a Witch. A healer, good  intending Witch. Like most healers, she has troubles, sometimes, with personal relationships and things go awry. Something went awry in the last place she lived and that is why she moved on to our Queendom. She wants to start anew. You see Mathuzala in the picture? He is here to tell Scarlet she is welcome and to do no harm. If she goofs-up, Mathuzala says he might tap her with his stick. (Director’s note: We have been told by some of our readers that some of our Stuffed Animals are not wearing their masks properly. We say: Give it a break! These are Stuffed Animals, after-all, and at least they are trying. That is better than what 50% of the Humans are doing. Scarlet will be wearing her mask in future appearances. See below for more update & action.)

7/20.  part 11

Episode #68 cont’d.: Now that Jack the Evil and Rich Prince is banished from the Queendom, Mamzelle Pinkie is free to move about. And move about she does, as she returns to her life’s work as a Foodie Journalist. The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness is off the set, preparing the night’s table for a romantic meal, which Mamzelle Pinkie will cook up. They are not concerned with the matters of the world at large (BIG SHOW). They are content with their lives (SMALL SHOW). All seems well, for the moment. (Stay tuned.  NEXT WEEK: The “TEDDIES” will be announced…for the first time ever!)

7/27/20 part 1

Episode #69 of NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”:  Remember last week, when we talked about our new character, Scarlet, being a ‘Healer’?  Well, she also loves ‘Causes’ and is coupling  her healing powers with a March.  (Studies have shown, most healers, though being given the great gift of being able to help others – are a little nuts). Scarlet has decided to lead a Protest against the way Stuffed Animals are being ignored in the Land of Humans and other Dangerous Creatures.  Of course this is a ridiculous idea – but it has caught the imagination of many in the Queendom, who are seen marching behind her – to who knows what end.  Also, please note, Borg, the fierce and angry Purple Slug, is with the protesters.  (See back left of picture)   He should not be there.   Will he cause trouble in this otherwise peaceful Protest?   Will the curious onlookers (see figures at top right of picture) be swept up in the turmoil?  (To be cont’d.)…Also, see way below for Special Announcement.

Special Announcement  7/27

8/03/20

Episode #70  of Season #1 of the NOTEFLIX production of “Troubles in the Garden”:  This is the “Spectacular” scene of the Season.  Scarlet is in front, leading the Demonstration (Protest?).  Her crowd is growing; but there are elements who want to “rain on her parade.” (see left of photo) Mack the Shark, Mortimer, Bork – the Angry Slug, and even Jack the Evil and scorned Prince – have all come to disrupt the peaceful doings.  Our hero, the Bluebird of Happiness and his love, Mamzelle Pinkie and their friends are looking on (See right side of photo), wondering if it is safe to join the parade…”What good will come of all this?” they query. Miz Ezmiralda, the Hairy Pig Queen of the Queendom of the Stuffed Animals – living in the Land of Humans and other Dangerous Creatures  is not being much of a help right now, being a camera hog – all she is doing is trying to get in front for a photo-op.  Mathuzala, the Wisest of All  (See bottom of picture) is facing the crowd, advising they come in Peace – otherwise he says, things could get out of control. (To be cont’d.)

Special Announcement, Augmented.

The NOTEFLIX  academy will SOON be holding its first, online only, Award ceremony for its actors and production staff.  Each winner will get its own Stuffed “TEDDIE” (Seen in the picture above) – as well as the fame and fortune that follows such an accolade.  Reading the above post, readers can  intelligentlyprepare to cast  ballots for their faves – online.  This will be a safe and secure process – the selections of candidates and the selections of the winners WILL NOT BE RIGGED.

8/10/20

Episode #71 of NOTEFLIXs “Troubles in the Garden”:  The above photo was altered from the photo below – by Who? We do not know!

The above photo is the original from Episode #70. See what the Evil Doers can do? They can alter the Truth.  They have made it look like Scarlet was simply taking an evening stroll in the Land of Humans and other Dangerous Creatures – when in TRUTH she was leading a popular, peaceful, Protest for the Cause of Better Treatment of Stuffed Animals. (For information related to this, see 4TH BULLET below)
