It is said sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees…but I say sometimes you can’t see the forest because the trees are all cut down; but then again, sometimes you can’t see the sky for the forest and it all gets too confusing to say anything coherently these days. Whatever. …But, if you squint real hard you can still find beauty in many places

- Here is one I thought of: If you do not like Democracy, you better run to become the next tyrant – before someone else does.
- Here’s another one: MAGAGA: MAKE AMERICA GAG AGAIN. There is a t-shirt business there. (I want 10%)
- A new friend, who may be a wise man, told me he heard: “…anyone who dies with more than $10,000 in the bank lived the life of a fool.” I guess that would mean if I died tomorrow I would not have died a fool.
- I have read we cannot afford to go to Mars…and if we could afford to go, we could not get there in time (our life-time, that is)…but some say it is good to dream…and I say “Dream this: Let’s clean up our mess here on earth before we mess things up out there.” Maybe it’s a mood I’m in because of some other problems going on here on the ground. Maybe we should try to go to Venus, someone told me it’s closer to us than Mars is. The other day a man told me he believes we never went to the moon. He seemed nice enough. I could see by his manner and dress he was not wandering in the heat without food nor drink, nor obviously deranged…For his bona fides he informed me he has made lots of money…seemed intelligent enough…but he truly believes ‘They’ have staged the whole moon landing stories. I am afraid to ask this man who he is going to vote for; but I know.
- Read these words: Man, Woman, Elevator, Assault (We’ll tell you why, later.)
- I’m starting to compile a list if topics about which I have little to no understanding. In no particular order of importance: *Bitcoins (If the Dear Reader can explain these ‘Coins’ to me, please do so) *Climate Change Deniers *AI (is it a net ‘good’? How do I make money from it? Does it eliminate more jobs than it creates? Can it make decisions? Does anyone in Congress understand it enough to regulate it? If ‘You know Who’ gets re-elected will Congress regulate anything? *Nuclear Power …I hear it is coming back – big time. My question regards the fact we have done nothing about nuclear waste…ever since it was invented…yes, we hold some of it in ‘lagoons’, some of it covered in tarps and salt mines and such…but we really plan to have someone else, in the future, deal with the waste…it just costs too much to deal with it now…anyway…I don’t understand it; but I do know Nuke Power is on the rise.
- OK…do not scroll up on this page…What were the 4 words we asked you to read? If you cannot remember them you probably should not vote in the next election. If you remembered at least 3 out of 4 you probably know who – in all moral decency – you should not vote for.
A few quotes:
- “Person, woman, man, camera, TV”…-Proof of Former President’s mental acuity, 2021
- “Money’s only something you need in case you don’t die tomorrow.” – Carl Fox (Martin Sheen)”Wall Street”
- “Money often costs too much.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
- “I would like to die on Mars. Just not on impact.” -Elon Musk

That’s all we can muster for the week. And a fond “Hello” to Patrick (aka.the man who told me I’m no fool)…and to Lady Skybird, of course.
