*For those of you who were taught other things: A long time ago the Greeks brought a big wooden horse to Troy and in the middle of night a bunch of warriors got out of that horse and captured the City, never to be great again. Today, we are given the gift – sort of our own wooden horse – of something that could do our thinking for us…almost for free…remember nothing is almost for free.

- In 1819 Washington Irving published a book about Rip Van Winkle who imbibed with some “Wee People’ and then fell asleep for 20 years and woke up to a much changed world…missing the American Revolution and all. Well, in today’s world, every time I wake up, I wake to a much changed world, other than the one I went to sleep to, even though I did not drink the night before. But I fear there are many ‘Wee People’ at work. Maybe, there is a book there.
- I read where our 47th President said we teach & talk too much about “How bad Slavery was” …Slavery wasn’t so bad and it was in the past, what there was of it…Something like that is what I make out of what it was he was trying to say. Maybe there is a whole new library of new books which will cover that point of view. And the people who publish the Trump Bible could publish these new books on the Benign aspects of Slavery and make themselves rich again.
