- I have read, in 2025 there will have been over 25 major ‘Hollywood Box Office Releases’ dealing with the subject of HORROR. What a waste of money and talent when all you have to do is go to your phone and read a few news clips of the day – for free. Do you remember when you had to read a whole book about a guy who goes into the jungle – ( i.e.,’The Heart of Darkness’ ) – and finally, at the end, the bad guy gasps out his last words “THE HORROR, THE HORROR”? Well, today, you don’t have to go into the jungle, or even read a book…you can find “THE HORROR, THE HORROR” at your fingertips. Don’t tell me the more things change the more they remain the same.
- Weekly Wonder Quiz: #1) The JOB numbers were: A) Down, but not as down as they would have been if that woman who was fired last month had been the one who posted them; but at least we can trust them now. B) Down, but no one seemed to care because no one commented on it since Trump was busy going to the U.S. Open C) Not Important because those out of work will be able to find work in the crop fields. D) Up last month…as you will see when the update comes in. #2) Did President Trump die last week? A) Maybe, because it looks like a body-double is taking his place in public appearances…notice this man is heavier than the one we voted for…and there is the ankles thing…and his hair is less blond and is thinner than usual…and, anyway you can’t trust what you see from the lying press anymore. B) No. He passed away several weeks ago. You can tell because whoever it is who is running things is even dumber, richer and crueler than President Trump was a few weeks ago. C) Yes; but he was revived after being given mouth to mouth resuscitation by Mike Johnson and all the Republican members of the House…and most of the Supreme Court.
