Update on NOTEFLIX’s production of “Troubles in the Garden”: What with all that’s going on in the world – and here “On Location” – Spring has sprung. That is all Mamzelle Pinkie and the Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness  knows – and all they need to know.

TRAVELING DOWN MEMORY LANE, IF YOU CARE TO REMEMBER  (The notes in this section are at least 10 years old):

  • CEO’s average pay in the 1970’s was 28 times that of the typical worker. The average CEO’s pay in 2005 was 158 times…(Last count in 2021 it went to 351 times the pay of the ‘typical worker’.)   Me?   I’d rather be a CEO than work for a living.   I don’t see them advertising those jobs on LinkedIn, however.
  • A 2011 POLL showed 41% of Millennials thought less than 2 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust.  66% had no idea what Auschwitz was.  52% thought Hitler came to power by force.  I’m sure the Millennials, now that they are all grown-up, are better informed today than they were then.
  • ERRONEOUS CONVICTIONS:  In 2012 studies said 1 out of 25 Death sentences (in the U.S.A.) were found to be on erroneous convictions.  Thank the Good Lord once a problem is known, it is already half solved.  I did not see a study on erroneous convictions resulting in Long Term Confinement. Dostoevsky wrote you could tell the quality of a Civilization of a Nation by observing its prison system.  He wrote this even before there were any ‘For Profit Prisons’.  What would he say about us now?
  • GUNS:  Another study showed in 2000 the #1 reason Americans purchased guns was:  Hobby.  In 2016 the #1 reason was for: “Protection from fellow man”.  I thought this gun buying thing was to keep us safe from the Government, or the British – if they came back.
  • FAST FOOD:  A study from 2011 said on any given day 37% of Americans will eat from a Fast Food Outlet…I notice the same percentage of U.S. citizens believe that Trump is actually still the President.  I wonder if there is a connection here…are QAnoners, Fast Food junkies?  Somebody should do a study, or at least put this out as a fact on Twitter, et al.
  • OIL:  In 2011 there was a book out on the subject of OIL.   It said we were going to run out of it soon and we better change our ways.  It was very popular; but it goes to show that popularity doesn’t count for much when push comes to shove.
  • ROBBERIES:  A study from 2011 said Bank robberies were down;  Cyber robberies were up because that is where the money is.  For every $28 million stolen from banks – $1 billion is taken from the CyberWorld.  I do not know if this figure has been improved upon over the years.
  • PADDLING:  A 2011 study students were still paddled in the U.S (though-be-it, in the ‘Deep South’).  Were you to do an overlay on the map where the paddling is going on, you would see these Paddlers reside in Republican States.  Just Saying.
  • FAIRY TALES:  In 2011 a woman was having having her books published which were Fairy Tales rewritten by giving the characters guns to work their way to happy conclusions.  The Three little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel.  The NRA likes these books.  I suppose the good news is the NRA likes books; That is the best I can take away from it.

  • I’ve noticed the Russian Billionaires tend to buy big yachts.  The American Billionaires like to travel in Space Ships.  Me? I’m not sure how I want to travel when I become a Billionaire. I tend to get a little sea-sick – so yachts are out.  And I am scared of heights, so I could not even get on the gantry to the space ship, let alone looking out the window from the stratosphere makes me nauseous to think about. More on this subject after my ‘Donation’ button arrives on this Blog.
  • Will we live to see the first “Trillionaire”?  And what is the word after “Trillionaire”?  And how would she/he like to travel?  And will he/she have to pay taxes?   In ten years these will not be stupid questions.

This is the space we usually place our words from our Guest Rodent Communist MATHUZALA (See picture below); but he has not submitted his advice this week, due to being hospitalized by a recurring illness which is a result of experiments done on him years ago.  We are happy to announce he is in good spirits and is recovering.  MATHUZALA has asked you not bother him with your ‘Thoughts and Prayers” as he would rather you become a Chumper and do some real good.

Were you to want to know more about MATHUZALA and his Chumpers movement, go to Amazon or Barnes & Noble and buy “THE RAT PAPERS” and get in on the action.

Spring has sprung here – and that is all we know – and all ye  need to know.

A quote, or two:

  • “Everything has been said before, but since nobody listens we have to keep going back and beginning all over again.  -Andre Gide quotes (French writer, humanist and moralist, 1947
  • “Everything has been said before.” -Attributed to Aeschylus, Circa 500, B.C. Greek Playwright

That’s it for now…and a fond “Hello” to Mike & Stan & John & Toby – all members of “The Inferior Four”…wherever you are…
