I live in a small Tuscan town. The other night there was a dinner (at a ‘Tavolo Lungo’ (A long Table) for the ‘locals’ and ‘Stranieri’ About a hundred fifty showed up. I got along with all of them…mostly because I don’t speak their language and they don’t speak mine … and, therefor, we could not disagree on anything,..there was nothing to do but have a good time of it.
