Here is what I have learned: If you want to get someone’s attention: Show her or him a picture of an animal..better a happy animal…after that you have a chance of telling them something you want to say…
- I read the Government is coming down hard on funding the Sciences. I wish they had gotten rid of the Sciences when I was in school. My grade averages would have gone up so high I probably could have been accepted into Harvard and not just because I was white. I never got one answer correct in Physics. One stupid formula after another. How boring was that? And then Chemistry, with all those symbols on the chart. Who could decipher, let alone memorize all that? And then you walk into Biology and they torture a frog in front of your very eyes…Where was the ASPCA in those days? Now they say the scientists are going to leave the Country…go to China…good luck with that. Have you ever tried to learn to speak Chinese? More difficult than Italian, that’s for sure. All the Nobel winners, the Pulitzer winners, the MacArthur Genius’s going to go Abroad…Goodbye, I say, to all those Smarty Pants. Who cares? We have everything we ever needed, right here, and what we don’t have we’ll start to make it ourselves – as soon as these Tariffs kick in.
- When I was a child and my older brother came into my room and tried to take some of my stuff and I punched him in the nose and he punched me back, my parents would come into the room and stop us from fighting – immediately! But now, I learn from the President of the United Stares that they handled this all wrong and they should have let this scene play out a bit longer, what with ‘boys being boys – and all’. My parents knew nothing, but the Prez…he built a casino and some tall buildings and even though he suffered many bankruptcies and other failures he must have learned a thing or two because he is the Prez now and countries fighting real wars should be left alone like my brother and I should have been left alone…
