There is no Update on Noteflix’s production of “Troubles in the Garden” – due to the Writer’s Strike. You might be interested to know, however, our cast members are suffering from the extreme heat. Here you can see our hero, The Multicolored Bluebird of Happiness sweltering in a rose bush. Also , if you squint, you can see Bork, the Angry Purple Slug, or whatever he is – tagging along. We are reminded of words from the ‘Good Book’: “He Maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good….” (Come back next week for more action. …p.s. if you think this picture is poorly constructed, you try taking a good photo in 95 degree heat)

- The subject of HISTORY is big in the news of the day. Should it be taught? Should certain stories be told? Admitted to? I have been forced to think about these questions. HISTORY, to my understanding, is: Myth, Facts, Fantasy, Error, Opinions, Lost, Forgotten, Often unread, Often banned, Sometimes manipulated…or as a dictionary claims: “…the study of past events, particularly in human affairs”. There are some States which do not want certain events in History to be taught or studied. It was bad enough when HISTORY was a series of dates you had to remember in order to pass the High-School exam. But now HISTORY can be: Illegal, Woke, Dangerous, Mind damaging and Worse. Then, there is that bromide which states if you do not know your HISTORY you are compelled to repeat it…OMG!
- ANTHROPOCENE AGE: Congratulations. Geologists have determined by 1950 we humans had made such an impact on the earth, that we had created a new AGE: The ANTHROPOCENE AGE. If you were to look at the rocks, ice and sands and stuff you could see how they came to this conclusion. It only took us a couple hundred thousand years to do it. Me? I still wonder where humans came from during the previous Ages, which were full of Dinosaurs, Mammoths and large Snakes. Some say creatures came out of the sea and learned to breathe out of water and developed legs and things and eventually became human. (By the way, others hold some creatures on land then crawled into the sea to get away from those things that crawled out and they became porpoises and whales and such.) Others say a God made man and told him to go forth. There is much HISTORY yet to be revealed. We do know man has gone forth; but we are not sure where he is going forth to…and how long this age will last. If past is prologue, we are still in the dark.
- LONGEVITY: Studies show (in the United States) Wealth is the best predictor of Longevity. If you are in the top 10% wealth bracket, you are more likely to outlive anybody in any other bracket: White, Hispanic, Black, Asian, Non-hispanic White, Christian, Jew, tall, short – you name it. Do you want to live longer than the others? Go into the Upper Wealth Bracket, young man. Me? I should’a been dead years ago.

The story which purports MATHUZALA is hiding out from the Feds is a blatant lie. He had nothing to do with exposing the files stored in the bathroom at Mar Lago.) If you have any solid information pertaining to MATHUZALA’s whereabouts, we would appreciate it. Otherwise please leave our message board alone. We are advised to inform the public: Under no circumstances will we pay ransom for MATHUZALA’s return – although it pains us to follow this advice, we will abide by it. (The Rockefeller Institute, which is suspected to have conducted experiments on MATHUZALA in the past, has neither denied nor confirmed that they have anything to do with the current disappearance.

NOTES FROM TUSCANY;
It is hot here. Air conditioning is not common. What the people here do is close the windows and shutters on the side of the house where the sun hits – and they open the windows and shutters on the other side. Then, later in the day, after the sun moves around, they open the closed windows and shutters and close the open ones. Oddly, for the most part, this system works pretty well. When it hits the 90’s in the day and stays in the 80’s all night, they close all the windows and shutters – no matter where the sun is – and hope for the best. A fan or two will help; but other than that you just have to sit back and be grateful you are in such a beautiful place – despite the heat.
